Beacon Hill Elementary School, (member of the Lester B. Pearson School Board in Quebec) wishes to offer an extra-curricular Spanish course to its students.
Solution
Extracurricular Spanish classes were offered by a teacher from the LNM Academy for 6 years, on a daily basis, to approximately 30 children in grades 4, 5 and 6.
Result
The students acquired the basics of their third language from primary school age.

As part of a research protocol, the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (IUGM) wishes to teach Spanish to monolingual French-speaking and English-speaking elderly people between 60 and 80 years old.
Solution
The institute's facilities were used for a series of 17 semi-intensive Spanish courses for three groups of about ten participants each.
Result
All the participants completed the programme, facilitating the analysis of the data collected in the research.
